NEC has launched the first standardised terms for both complex and simple purchasing of domestic and international supply. Launched in February 2010 and accompanied by explanatory Guidance Notes and Flow Charts, these new documents enable NEC3 to be used as a complete procurement solution across Works, Services and Supply. 'Supply' includes supply of high risk/value goods and associated services such as transformers, turbine rotors, rolling stock, loading bridges, transmission plant and cable, process plant together with the lower risk/value goods and associated services such as building materials, simple plant and eqiuipment, stationery, PPE, manufacturing parts, components and store items.
