NEC3 is fast becoming the contract of choice for the construction professional. It comes with powerful inbuilt tools which see all parties work to solve challenges before they turn into costly issues of time and money. This, along with the unique endorsement from the Office of Government Commerce has seen NEC3 adopted for both large and small projects across all sectors.
This summer NEC will run roadshows which can be attended separately or as a full day event. These courses are particularly suitable for those unfamiliar with NEC3 who would like to find out how it could save time and money for their organisation as those who do or would like to work within public sector construction.
AM – NEC & JCT Compared - The morning session will focus on the differences between the NEC and JCT forms of contract. It will be invaluable to anyone wanting more information on employing a best practice approach to procurement or those who have heard of NEC but are unsure how it would work for their organisation – full programme here.
PM – Delivering Public Sector Construction Projects under NEC3 - The afternoon will explore the Achieving Excellence in Construction (AEC) Principles – essential for anyone involved in public sector construction. We will look at how NEC fits in with these principles including our dedicated ‘Z’ clauses and also the wider issues of the Fair Payment Initiative and Project Bank Accounts – full programme here.
Dates, prices and how to book.
Roadshows are £120 for either AM or PM alone, or attend all day for the rate of £175. These rates attract 20% discount for members of ACE, APM, CIOB, ICE, ICES, RIBA and RICS, just go to neccontract.com/events for more details and full programmes. To claim your discount simply enter your membership number on the booking form.
