This is a practical one-day workshop intended for Employers, Service Managers, Contractors, Subcontractors and consultants who are involved in the pre- and post-contract stage of projects and will focus on the provisions of the NEC3 Term Service Contract (TSC).

Through a series of interactive case studies, the delegates will be provided with invaluable practical guidance on completing the Contract Data part 1 and 2, assessment of tenders and on the integrated management processes and procedures contained within the TSC.

As this is a workshop based around a series of case studies, delegates should either have attended an Introduction to the TSC course or will have hands on experience of TSC projects.

Objectives

At the end of the workshop, you should be able to:

• prepare Contract Data parts 1 and 2 and appraise tenders
• apply the TSC in practice and resolve problems
• understand important TSC clauses and processes in particular early warning, the plan, the Risk Register, communications and compensation events
• know how to instruct tasks
• run a TSC contract
