Our popular NEC event took place on Monday 28 April at One Great George Street and was another sell-out success, attracting 240 senior delegates from across the international construction industry.

The Seminar is an opportunity for NEC users to come together to share best practice, get the latest insights from industry case studies and network with fellow users and solutions providers.

Once again the event attracted government representation with Lord Deighton, Commercial Secretary to the Treasury delivering the keynote presentation on UK infrastructure and the role that the NEC plays in delivering government objectives.

Representatives from the Hong Kong Government also came to give an update on NEC’s use in Hong Kong, and were delighted to meet Peter Hansford, Chief Construction Adviser, who was in the audience for most of the day.

When delegates weren’t in presentations or workshops there were productive and busy networking sessions in the Great Hall where 10 exhibitors had stands.

Feedback from the event has been excellent, with many frequent attendees commenting that it was the best they had been to.

Focus for the team now moves onto the launch of a new NEC suite of documents for the facilities management market, and the launch of a new website in July.
