NEC to exhibit at DPRTE 2017
NEC Contracts will be exhibiting at the upcoming Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2017, in Cardiff on 28 March 2017.

This event gathers buyers and suppliers from the defense acquisition supply chain and provides insight into the latest developments impacting the defence procurement marketplace.

The event's organisation says "With spend in the defence sector amounting to over £19 billion per year and a pledge to meet NATO’s target of spending 2% of national income on defence every year until 2020, the procurement and supply chain function within the defence sector has never been more important."

The UK Government also declared in the National Security Strategy and Strategic Defence and Security Review 2015 a £178 billion investment on new equipment and equipment support over the next ten years.

DPRTE 2017 is supported by the Defense Equipment and Support (DE&S), Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’s (Dstl), Defence a & Security Organisation, Crown Commercial Service, Department for International trad, amongst other leading MOD organisations and trade associations.

The NEC Suite of Contracts is designed to support best practice in modern procurement.
