What determines whether I should use the Term Service Contract or the Term Service Short Contract?
Both are applicable for the appointment of a supplier for a period of time to manage and provide a service e.g. maintenance or facilities management. The Term Service Short Contract is more appropriate for contracts that do not require sophisticated management techniques and pose low risk. For example, the Term Service Short Contract would be appropriate for lawns maintenance whereas the Term Service Contract would be more appropriate for the maintenance of a power plant.
