Procurement in Facilities Management: we want to hear from you

Procurement in Facilities Management: we want to hear from you

Following the joint announcement last month of our collaboration efforts, the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) are pleased that the next step in this process is now being released.

The first piece of work is to identify the needs and challenges of organisations and individuals working in FM. As such, we have commissioned a survey to understand market challenges within the procurement process.

The survey has been developed to further understand the views of those involved in contracting services to other organisations; and those supplying these services. The research specifically focuses on the experience of using contracts and agreements; the issues and difficulties parties face when using contracts and agreements; and what changes should be made to improve the experience of using them.

The results of this research and the priority actions will be announced at the NEC Users' Group Annual Seminar 2018 and at the BIFM Smart Client Programme at Facilities Show in June 2018.

The feedback from this research will contribute to greater support for procurement in the FM sector. For your participation in this survey, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher for use at Amazon UK.
