NEC Announces New Users’ Group Membership packages and a Users’ Group app

NEC has announced new Users’ Group Membership packages for companies, organisations and individuals, offering greater opportunities to access NEC support and benefit from a wide range of events, products, and tailored consultancy services.

Global Membership
Previously, the Users’ Group operated in three separate regions: UK, Asia-Pacific, and Rest of the World.  As part of our enhanced offerings, we have removed the regional specific offerings and introduced Corporate, Individual, and Affiliate membership options.

The new ‘Corporate’ membership, is now open to all commercial organisations around the world. Companies can choose from four different levels in the corporate membership: Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze, and these are determined by their use of NEC contracts and the level of support they need for projects.

The new ‘Individual’ membership has been created to offer a similar range of helpful support for individuals using NEC contracts. The ‘Affiliate’ option is complimentary membership designed for professional institutions and governmental bodies around the world.

By enabling access to the Users’ Group for all organisations and individuals around the world and bringing the Users’ Groups together, NEC hopes to encourage the global sharing of ideas and best practice within the membership, as we have already seen at our recent NEC Users’ Group Conference.

Benefits of Users’ Group Membership
Among the benefits that members can enjoy include access to digital and/or hard copies of the NEC Contracts, complimentary events and workshops, updates on NEC products and services, a regular newsletter, and delegate places to attend the NEC Annual Conference which brings together industry experts from the international NEC community to exchange knowledge and best practice. There is also a dedicated helpdesk for exclusive technical support with the operation of the contracts. Platinum and Gold Corporate levels also provide a 10% saving on further NEC products and services, including Contracts, training and consultancy.

NEC Users’ Group App
In addition to the new memberships, NEC is also launching a dedicated Users’ Group app. The app will enable members to be kept up to date with the latest news and activities across the NEC world. Members can access the information hub and resources about NEC and its conferences and can use it to contact and connect with the global NEC community.
