New Decade, New Horizons

Join us for this year’s NEC Users’ Group Annual Seminar! The day will celebrate the success of past NEC projects, showcase the progress on current projects, and upcoming industry collaborations. This year’s flagship event will take place on Monday 15th June at the home of The Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street.

Last year, NEC welcomed 350 industry leading experts from the UK and around the world, keen to discuss best practices, NEC developments, and network with likeminded peers within the engineering and project management community. The conference will also focus on NEC as an international contract, leading the way with digital solutions for industry.

“This is a great event to meet others using NEC, share stories and experiences but also really learn from each other and that helps to promote the industry.” - David Ferroussat, Former Development Procurement Director, Heathrow Airport Limited

Who should attend?
Offered to both NEC Users’ Group members and non-members, the day is ideal for the learning and professional development of:
  • Project Managers
  • Supervisors
  • Employers and their advisers
  • Contractors and their supply chain
  • Consultants
  • Public Sector
  • Industry members

Practical Application Workshops
NEC has helped thousands of customers set their procurement strategy with confidence, ensuring their projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. The practical application workshops are led by NEC experts, aiming to deepen the understanding of the day-to-day use of contracts, giving you the tools to evolve and accelerate your projects success.

“I attended the risks and liabilities workshop - We were taken through several scenarios which I found to be very useful. Initially a black and white contract can appear obvious however, when someone suggests a practical scenario usually it’s not always that obvious”.Kirsteen Milne, Shepherd and Wedderburn

NEC Awards
The seminar will conclude with case study presentations on key projects and NEC awards. The awards celebrate projects and organisations within the UK and around the world who have demonstrated how the spirit of mutual trust and cooperation enables successful project delivery.

Cocktail Reception
Finishing the day with a cocktail reception, attendees will benefit from an opportunity to informally network. Learn and connect with fellow delegates from diverse backgrounds within the engineering community to learn, share and improve.
