The contractor’s plan is a statement of how you intend to provide the service in compliance with the scope and conditions of contract. The content of the plan is detailed in clauses 31.2 and 32.1. If the plan is accepted by the service manager (clause 31.3), it becomes the accepted plan as defined in clause 11.2(1). In line with clause 32.2, you must as a minimum submit revised plans to the service manager for acceptance within the period stated in the contract data, which in the case of your contract is 5 weeks.
A task order programme is a construction programme showing how you intend to provide that part of the service instructed via a task order, in compliance with the scope and conditions of contract. The content of a task order programme is detailed in clauses 33.2 and 34.1. In your contract the client has chosen a period of 5 days for you submit a task order programme to the service manager for acceptance in line with clause 33.1. When putting a contract together, the client can require the contractor to provide a first plan as part of its tender, which can then be included in the contract as part of contract data part two at contract award.
Alternatively, the client can require the contractor to submit a first plan for acceptance within the period stated in contract data part one. In your contract the client has adopted the latter option and required you to submit a first plan for acceptance within 2 weeks of the contract date. As noted above, if the plan is accepted by the service manager, it will become the accepted plan.
