NEC South American case study: 2019 Lima Games
8 July. 8am-9am PET
The first case study of NEC Contracts being used in Latin America was for the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan Games. NEC contracts were used to facilitate fast-track delivery of US$400 million (£300 million) of new and upgraded venues and facilities to deliver the international sporting event.
The critical Lima 2019 venue infrastructure contracts were awarded using the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) Option F (management contract) with the brief to deliver world-class legacy venues and sports facilities that were compliant to international venue standards, sustainable, within the masterplan budget, and within record delivery times.
This webinar will be explore the key challenges and strategy adopted when introducing NEC to Peru, what benefits the contracts provided in ensuring the games were delivered on time and to standard as well as lessons learned.
Look forward to seeing you there!
