This short single-module online training course focusses on introducing users to the NEC family of contracts.
Delegates will gain an understanding of the philosophy of NEC; the extent of the NEC family and how it extends to goods, works and services procurement; There will also be an outline of a few key features of the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) including the importance of early warning, the programme and compensation events.

NEC produces a diverse range of definitive end-to-end project management contracts that empower users to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
The suite is uniquely flexible and can be used for the procurement of works, services and goods across all sectors – including public and private, buildings and infrastructure, plant and equipment – as well as all stages of a project lifecycle, from planning, design and project management to construction, maintenance and facilities management.
Duration
This module takes approximately 40-60 minutes to complete and is followed by a short multiple choice test.
