NEC4 ECC Foundations
This course introduces the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), focusing on the core philosophy, structure, and practical context behind the contract. Designed for those new to NEC or new markets adopting it for the first time, the course lays the groundwork for confident engagement with NEC-based projects.
Through real-world examples and practical discussion, learners will gain an understanding of why NEC was created, how its principles support better project outcomes, and how the ECC is structured to support collaboration, clarity, and good management. By the end of the course, delegates will have a clear view of the contract’s intent, its key components, and how it differs from traditional approaches.
This course starts at 09:00 and finishes at 17:00 with refreshment breaks mid-morning and afternoon, plus lunch. It provides 6 Hours formal CPD.
