Introduction to FAC-1
FAC-1 has been adopted on programmes worth over £100 billion, bringing together clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers in a single collaborative framework. This one-day course is designed for professionals who need a practical, working understanding of FAC-1, how it is structured, how it operates alongside other contract forms, and how it can deliver measurable value.
Drawing on live projects and proven prototypes, we’ll examine the core clauses, governance arrangements, and processes that make FAC-1 a “Gold Standard” collaborative contract.
By the end of the day, delegates will be able to identify where FAC-1 can be applied, what to watch out for, and how to integrate it into real projects.
This course starts at 09:00 and finishes at 17:00 with refreshment breaks mid-morning and afternoon, plus lunch. It provides 6 Hours formal CPD.
All timings, except the start time, are approximate and may be adjusted to suit natural breaks in the sessions.
