Compensation events are a core mechanism of the NEC4 ECC contract, offering a fair and structured way to manage change in terms of time and cost. However, to be effective, they must be handled correctly - starting from early warnings and proper notifications, through to quotation, assessment, and implementation.

This workshop takes a practical approach at how compensation events work, the common pitfalls to avoid, and how to use the contract to reduce disputes and maintain progress. With real-life examples and step-by-step walkthroughs of key processes, delegates will leave with greater clarity and confidence in managing change under the ECC.


This course starts at 09:00 and finishes at 17:00 with refreshment breaks mid-morning and afternoon, plus lunch. It provides 6 Hours formal CPD.
