New NEC White Paper Released – The Facilities Management Contract and Term Service Contract Compared

New NEC White Paper Released – The Facilities Management Contract and Term Service Contract Compared

NEC is pleased to announce the release of its next white paper, this one comparing the new NEC4 Facilities Management Contract (FMC) with the NEC4 Term Service Contract (TSC).

Like the TSC and its short (TSSC) and subcontract (TSS) versions, the new FM contracts are designed for appointing suppliers for a defined period of time to manage and provide a service. But while the facilities management industry has been using TSC for large-scale work, a substantial part of the sector was not using it or the TSSC because they felt the contracts did not provide the procedures needed for their particular services.

The new FM contracts, created in partnership with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) and releasing next week at our Annual Conference, were designed to meet the diverse needs of the facilities management sector while also integrating with the NEC4 suite.

This new white paper helps break down the similarities and differences between the two contract forms, helping you make a decision on which contract is best suited to your needs.
